More than half of Britain's adults deem money to be a taboo subject, and more than 28 million said that they would be more confident talking about sex, religion or politics instead. In the UK, 32% of adults say that they find talking about money to be stressful, and 43% said that it was embarrassing. But why do we feel that way? Money is such an important and key part of our lives, yet it seems we’d rather watch a Game of Thrones sex scene with our parents than bring up a conversation about about their bank accounts.
